Bridger has been in business since the middle of 2017, and the company’s momentum is just getting started as it heads into 2018. With the launch of its first non-standard auto product, BridgerDrive, the company is addressing a California auto insurance market need that’s been growing for several years.
BridgerDrive is underwritten by Knightbrook and is targeted for drivers with non-standard risk needs. In addition to BridgerDrive, the company has also released BridgerGuard for the growing California renters market. Also on the drawing board for 2018 is a new commercial auto program, BridgerPro, which will address the needs of small businesses with fewer than ten vehicles.
California producers will also notice a new cloud-based policy management system. Brokers will be able to access legacy policies through the older system, but will experience a new, more user-friendly system for BridgerDrive policies for the California auto insurance marketplace. Additionally, Bridger is launching a new web site, uniquely branded to further promote the simplicity and ease of working with Bridger. In speaking with Charles Bobo, Bridger’s chief marketing officer, he stated “Our branding direction promotes an air of ease and simplicity in working with Bridger. We want agents and policyholders to feel comfortable, and this direction truly reflects the culture of Bridger.”
With a mere seven months of operations under its belt, Bridger is aggressively tackling the insurance marketplace with needed products and new technologies to for a new generation of users. 2018 will continue to be an exciting time of growth for Bridger.
